He's one on his own, that Dr Ray!  Still, to be fair, adults tend to take smaller doses of fludrocortisone than children and are less vulnerable when it comes to an adrenal crisis.  These new tablets (which incidentally have only been produced in the UK since the beginning of this year) can be left out of the fridge for up to one month and most of us only receive that amount on prescription anyway.
