Hi Wigan

There is only one manufacturer of Florinef in the UK (Bristol-Myers Squibb), so the tablets are the same whether you have a private prescripton or not.  They only started manufacturing the tablets that need refrigerating early this year.  If you only receive 30 days supply at a time, as you say,  you are of course quite safe to keep your tablets at room temperature.

GP's aren't all bad, although I agree very few of them know anything about CAH.  They shouldn't even try to advise a patient with this condition though, as patients need to be monitored and treated by an endocrinologist, preferably one who has a lot of experience in CAH!
