"Do we need surgery...?" (and to that, I would answer yes--a lobotomy would do you fine)!
I know you are on a mission to get parents/grandparents to consider the entire picture before surgery for their children. I do not have a problem with someone that is well educated on an issue and wants to give an opinion. I can tell you that as a parent of a CAH child the way you come across with your information can turn a parent away from your information. The example I am using is what you posted above! Why would you tell a parent they need a lobotomy for simply asking a question about surgery? I know there will be controversy when I come to this board but sometimes it's not controversy with you it's plain RUDE!!!!!!!!! You also need to remember Betsy that your talking to parents that Love their children very much and are very concerned about their childrens/grandchildren's future! I wonder how many you have scared away with your BRASH remarks.
