My Deepest apologies, in no way did I intend for you or anyone else here to feel like a "lab rat" or some other biological curiosity. True, the picture from 20 + years ago sparked my curiosity and true my knowlege of very specific details in relation specifically to CAH is limited. But I am hear to learn, I don't want to seem like the bad guy. I know adrenal crisis can be fatal, I know boys with CAH can look like little body builders and they can be well endowed. I am sorry if i came off the wrong way, it was not my intent. I am an outsider looking in.
I was not intending to blame my family for my short comings, I have struggled finacially for some time. I finially got an economic break today as a matter of fact so i wil be putting my degree to good use very soon.
And you did ask why I mentioned AIS, well, its just me. I feel I have to thouroughly explain myself and I often cite examples to illustrate my case. In my last post I was specifically using the AIS example to show how Drs often withheld information from the patient or promoted false truths. I realize using such examples would not be nessasary here since most of you have experienced these things 1st hand or know someone who has. Its a hold over from my schooldays when fellow classmates would give me a dumb look when I spoke anything science ( I would be speaking WAY over thier heads) so i would give examples and illustrations until they "got it." Its this very mentality that makes my post so long. Once again, this is how I have always been, when I have a topic to speak on.
