To: Betsy- The lies that are told--taken from public testimony and information

First my daughters CAH or surgery has never been a secret!  I am not embarassed of my daughter or anything on her body.  I did think the fact that she had to have a name so I didn't call her "Kid" for 16 years was important.  I did the fact that she was 46 XX, had a uterus and ovaries and her condition caused her to have ambiguous genitalia not INTERSEX that she needed to look like a female.  I know there a plenty of parents like Danny that have chosen to let their children decide for themselves.  I think that is a great decision because it is their decision as parents and that is what they feel is best.  I also think parents that choose to have their childrens surgery at an early age is great also since my daughter did have the surgery.  It was our decision my husband and I made and it is what we felt was right.  I also feel like people like you want to put a label on people with CAH, do you have a degree in endocronology?  Do you have a degree in Urology?  When you do please let us know!
Dana
