Dear Anne,
No one is perfect and most certainly not me. If you were offended that I didn't want someone with CAH ever being compared to CAH dogs (I think that is the post that you were talking about) I'm sorry about that you were not pleased with my post.
I just wanted CAH to be taken out of the comparison to animals and we often don't get what we want. I am not an animal and maybe that was in capital letters in the prior posts but I'm sensitive of my condition and maybe for a change it would be great for CAH to be seen being compared to other birth defects like diabetes in humans.
I guess because and I don't expect you to see it from my view point but being written about in the same sentence as animals devalues what a human w/ CAH goes through. My opinion and that's all. This is the Internet after all and if you read my posts under scar tissue/ cat scan to Tim that I agree with you. Although it seems that I'm having more fun with all this....Heck if you don't agree w/ someone write them back and tell them. People always don't do or say the write things. I'm an out going person and also I can be assertive and at times aggressive in my tone because I want someone to get it. I hope that you aren't going to back away from your kid if they are aggressive or assertive and What really cracks me up is that many parents posted that they wondered why Tim was here also in threads above this but Ya didn't write anything about what they wrote lol ..where's the love ....lol If I wasn't a lab rat along w/ others then there wouldn't be the medical knowledge about CAH that helps kids today. Tim, I was going to suggest Endocrinologist also but I think you would have more fun as a Gastrologist (sp?) because the Endo from what I gather is much more numbers and blood work but Gastro is much more visual which might be more fun.
