Gastric Bypass? Wow, I wish you the best w/ that and I understand your reasoning about it. Being over weight even though others don't think so may/ will have an effect on other health related issues that would add stress to the body. Heart problems, knee trouble and so much more. "Sleep with a machine unless it's for pleasure" that's to funny!! The radiation shrinks up the area a little to much and w/ the prior surgeries it shrink up more but as the doc was trying to find something small enough for me to start with, I commented that I'm going to go over to the Hustlers and find some thing with batteries. He looked at me and started laughing which is good because he got my sense of humor really I tried to bring fun to all this with respect and dignity just like I've always tried to do with CAH.
It is sad about the weight thing and with CAH it's now wonder we don't have eating disorders. They want you to be thin and don't care how.
Mitzi needs her Grandma! All the best for the surgery.
