Lisa........ No I am not upset with Betsy's views on some subjects. But I do get discouraged and overwhelmed with the constant questioning and doubts that the decision we made for choosing surgery for our children makes us EVIL people that mutilate children. The way she would like to make us feel that we are HORRIBLE for not letting our children make this decision for themselves. I REFUSE to let my Granddaughters health and welfare be at risk to appease someones right to choose agenda. Bottom line is I did not want to make this choice either...but due to the fact her Mother is dead.....someone had to do it! I just want to make decisions about my childs life and quality of life based on what I feel will be in her best interest........WITH OUT being judged by someone who does not have children and does not KNOW how hard these issues are on a Parent. I accept her views and some of her educational information and I respect her tenacity for fighting for her cause. Just don't do it at other Mothers expense. Thats all ! Sincerely ,
