I agree. I'm 23-years-old and although i know all about my CAH and am completely comfortable with it, being included under that "umbrella" makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I know EXACTLY what sex I am and all the women i've met with CAH know EXACTLY who they are too. I think the biggest part of your daughter's confidence will come from an open dialog with you and knowing everything she can about her condition.
