Which has nothing to do with the chromosomes mentioned in this article and that is a problem. This research would benefit people without CAH but you don't read that and my friends that had trans loved this article.
I would like to see the reseach that a small but not insignificant number if girls with CAH grow up wanting to be male and is that any different from the population that doesn't have CAH?
Plus, I would also like to ask how consistent their supression of androgens was or when treament for CAH was actually started. When I was 12 I didn't take my meds for awhile and not only was I always ill for not taking the med, I could also see the effect of excessive androgens.
Used in the context that you have for intersex, I think people would agree BUT it's taken on a whole different perspective good or bad where it's being thought of as something to add in to the Gay, Lesbian,Trans, and Bi rainbow or as a minority --- HAVE you looked at the Intersex Society of North America's web page? and not merely a descriptive catagory of something that might happen externaly to the female genital area because of a medical condition and the medical part of CAH and the seriousness of that is never addressed in the articles to the public and the articles are written to seem like all girls or sometimes everyone with CAH has external genitals where the sex isn't certain at first and that's far from the truth most girls with CAH just have an enlarges clitoris which the endocrine consensus recommends to leave alone.
"Feels the characteristics of both sexes"? hummm I know lots of women that don't have CAH who feel the same way.
