re: Question to parents and grandparents?

Dana, I quit visiting this board for quite a while due to those comments.  I think this board is very helpful and I have started coming back recently...However, I found those types of comments very upsetting at the time (prior to my daughters surgery), which left me second guessing my decision about my daugthers surgery, feeling like a terrible mother, etc.. Her's was very minor, but after reading comments like those I felt awful...ultimately I got over it, however, due to hearing such things, I no longer read posts by those I know may be harsh...even though I think now I could handle it better.... my daughter's surgery is over, she is beautiful and there have been no problems..i am so blessed...I am very protective of my daughter (as I am sure you are) and I will never apologize for it...I would also never intentionally be so hard as to say those things to people regarding such a delicate subject.  I look for support on this board and I get it most of the time...however, I know how you feel and please know that in my experience on this board, MOST of the people will not be so hard.
L
