On the controversy page, no one cares if they hurt a person as long as they win the argument. For people this page is their chance to force everyone to agree with them. If someone gets hurt too bad. When the person leaves good because he/she wouldn't bend to the will of others. The truth of the matter is even if the person doesn't mean to be hurtful, it is not their problem in their opinion. No one will EVER consider stepping back and trying to see how others might feel by the wording used. If you want people to treat you with respect, you should probably stick to the main board. People actually try to be nice when they post there even the same people that don't on this page.
