Dana, Ah yes..I have felt the same way. I have fumed over being called names by Betsy and for her suggesting that our children are pawns (IE we stop having surgery & she will stop using the word intersex). The points brought up I have respected & sometimes followed up on learning more, but most of what she says about our children I try to ignore. She has an agenda, so you have to remember that & then post below..."CHERRY LANE PLEASE POST WHAT WE ALL THINK " below her post. Cherry says so many times what I want to say in defense of my child but am to emotional & angery to say. In defense, this is the controversy board...sometimes I avoid it b/c I know that no matter what is said, Betsy will turn it to being all about surgery. There is so much more to talk about, even on the controversy board.... My best advise, know that some people are just angery & bitter & from what she has posted on this board..she sounds like one of those people. Maybe not, but she never comes across as trying to be supportive or helpful to us & our children. I look at other posts from CAH adults to really show me what my daughter can accomlish & realize that there are so many people who come to this board who really care about my daughter, and for those people I return.
