What you say is how I feel. I appreciate how Betsy feels from her own experience but I also feel she tends to lecture us when it comes to issues about surgery. I have chosen surgery for my child and I don't like being made to feel guilty about it. I know Betsy is anti- surgery and talks about it as 'mutilation' (rather a harsh term) but there have been others on this board (eg I think Jaymie) who made comments that they were glad they had surgery done when they were young. There are always 2 sides to every coin or the glass is either half-empty or half-full. I like to believe my glass is half-full.
