Dear Aimee,

I think it is important for us parents to know how cah adults feel as you have been through this stuff.  With all due respect, I find myself often confused about the message you are trying to give us parents.  Sometimes it seems you are saying parents should wait because it is the child's body therefore should be her choice.  Other times it seems you are telling us that parents know best and do things out of love for the child so it should be up to the parents.  The same thing with the intersex debate.  Sometimes it seems you are really offended by the use of this word.  Other times it seems you are saying its' no big deal, just a medical term.  I think you have a lot to offer being that you have beent hrough this stuff personally, but I am really confused by what your message.

Sue
