Cherry you put it perfectly. But Betsy will never hear our voices as parents. She claims she had a good relationship with her parents but I think there is still some hidden disgust against them for choosing surgery for her. Those poor souls. I think our words as parents go on deaf ears when it comes to directing anything to Betsy. She is and always will be against surgery. It doesn't matter what the case is. No one will convince her different. It is a broken record of how horrid and scary parents can be to have the choice "ripped away from our girls" as it is so nicely put all the time. We all know we never made that choice because we are as wicked and cruel as this report or Betsy makes us out to be. She will never understand in this lifetime. If she herself was so at peace with it, she wouldn't continue to post her pieces on not having surgery, intersexing CAH, ect. I really try hard to avoid these posts. I know I have done the right thing for my daughter. But then again I think of others and feel the need to at least add a post here and there so not every person gets guilted into the baaaaaad and eeeeevil parent trip she puts everyone on. It doesn't work with me. If you made the right choice for your daughter to have surgery OR NOT, it won't guilt you either way.  (heavy sigh) There is a better way to help CAH women Bets. You just don't get it yet. Cursing the parents isn't one way. Aimee has a good outlook. Thank you Aimee. You seem to always get your point across without using the eeevil parent tactic.  Let me play my broken record again. Surgery isn't for every CAH girl that is virilized. There are different degrees of the genitals that are affected. The right surgeon is extremely important when you do make that choice. As any other choice we make as parents. That is what parents do, make choices for our children for their best interest, and so on an so forth. I can go on an on but there is no need. We all know why we chose the surgery. And it sure wasn't out of our eeeevil dark side. (said in my best Darth Vader voice)
