Everyone that I've talked with on and off the board has experience with drug or alchohol use or abuse. Some because of how they were born and others because family members respectfully and out of human nature were/are ashamed, shocked of the one part of some girls with external genitals that are ambiguous and I assume and hope ...know there are many, many out there that don't even consider any of this but I just wanted to get some thoughts going on this so maybe down the road some kid isn't going to finance a bartenders education. or maybe if this behavoir isn't specific to CAH in the way heck have this condition gets go live it up a little to....to much in the twenties because i got this so lets do more "bad" than the rest to compensate for all the exams and blood work. I've read my little CAHer and then awhile back some kid going yes i've tried E (which can kill you quicker than and adrenal crisis or whatever and I wonder if after reading from a researcher about people/kids with CAH being scared and I thought we if anything seem mad ...somewhat lost and needing info...screw scared : ) and I read from with respect the researcher people with CAH are turned off, scared by sex and then I know that people I've talked w/ that have CAH are h^^^bent on getting pregnant or at least seeing if darn thing that's been studied and surgically rearranged actually works to whatever degree I see a disconnention there : ) and parents she'll get married, she''ll have kids, she'll get married, she'll have kids after all we invested in all this surgery this is a tough birth defect because of the socological implications and not so much the condition itself. thanks, Aimee
