Maybe I am getting the wrong message here, but I cannot for the life of me see any connection between CAH and drugs drug taking alcoholism - you cannot blame your actions on this condition. Through the years I have met many happy healthy and not so healthy people who have CAH and not turned to either.......... I think almost everyone in life goes through periods of depression, which through self will and self respect do not turn to drugs or alcohol and I think it is wrong to blame an adrenal condition on this. I cannot see this connection at all and I think that was a sweeping statement made by Aimee Everyone that I've talked with on and off the board has experience with drug or alcohol use or abuse. NO they have not!!!
