I can see waiting on the surgery for someone born from prader three to four w/ area underneath to void but it's difficult row for a little girl w/ CAH being a prader five and I don't really know the answer but I don't believe the groups that are suggesting to wait on the surgeries would want to put my medical health in danger either and recognize the need for some surgeries in a medical sense. My parents didn't choose the surgery and didn't gasp in horror at my existence : ) ok maybe my birth parents did but my parents picked me and they could of adopted anyone. Surgery was sooner or later but before period flow. It's sad that you all were given pictures to shock and scare you because it's like they shamed you instead of valuing your intelligence by explaining this is what is done based on the medical knowledge about CAH today. I'm not seeing the whole picture for the lack of a better word but it seems from the other postings that a picture that was supposed to be used for medical education for doctors were used in the worse way to shame people that are carriers of a medicial condition. Was she personally in physical pain from what I gather was just a really and really large clitoris? and just because one person would off themselves becase of that doesn't mean someone else would and what is the matter with a little counseling first?
i want my tummy tuck ..where is the concern lol just trying to keep it light with a subject that isn't.
