Great post and I get where you are coming from and the reason they like the surgery issue is much broader in my opinion but like you addressed that is the main implication of their mission statement. Any mission statement of any group carries father reaching implications. Micro, Messo, and Macro levels : ) They and transexual groups according to someone that had trans people come into their class are going into med schools speaking about CAH under intersex/surgery w/ other conditions and working on phamlets to give to medical centers, literature, TV etc.
I do view their website and I've noticed that they've upgraded the information about CAH from past visits independent of any surgery issue and just wanted to be sure that I wasn't missing the adrenal crisis anywhere. I can separate some things that I disagree with and appreciate other things in order for a better, clearer picture of CAH.
I loved the visual nature of your post and for me with CAH, the adrenal gland is in the same picture as the surgery or ambiguous genitals no matter what the medium because it's part of the formation of the artwork or meal.
I'm just looking for open lines of communication to get complete information or if you will a more detailed painting of CAH out there by whoever delivers it to others (medical people) that are going to be recieving me when I need what matters to me most and that being the solu-cortef.
It is my hope that you would share your thoughts about CAH with them also ..whatever they might be so that CAH may advance anywhere and everywhere it is.
