You don't need to explain your self, People only can judge when they have been threw what you've been threw. I also think it is wonderful that you've been sober for three years, My mother is an alcoholic she win't even say the word but if you are looking for her just stop into the bar. It really is a hard think to overcome and you did good for you. I also think it is wonderful that you post these issues. I am a mother and who knows better then you what they may go threw and feel. I could never really know what it feels like to have ambigous genitalia or sw cah. But she does. I hope she won;t drink or do drugs but if she does I'll know why she does and try my very best to help her. Thank you for everything you have posted. I think your a very strong person. I as well have Cancer, hope you are cancer free know thats also very hard to deal with but you'll be great your very strong I only hope my Sammy is as strong. Good luck and god bless
