I just recently found this web site and I am really excited because I have been the only person I have ever know with congenital adrenal hyperplasia.  The irony of people in general and even my endocrynologist is that CAH is really not taken that seriously.  I in my 24 years have had 3 near death experiences due to complications of my disease.  When I read that people with Addison's disease can live full and healthy lives I nearly fell out of my chair.  The truth is CAH is serious and it effects everything in my life.  But with doctors and personal education I myself able to cope with all of these things.  Thank you for opening this discussion it really gives me a chance to know I am not alone.
