I'm glad that that my post were ok ....not to dorky or preachy. The bond of marriage is interesting to me ...Like wolves that mate for life.
I thought it was great that you posted because the focus on the area for CAH/ and then it seems we are let to ourselves to explain it or feel that it's hard to bring it up with parents or are just darn curious about what others will say but we aren't sure how to bring it up. At 17? I just couldn't deal with any rejection at that time But like you I wished that someone w/ CAH would of been there to maybe say how they brought up everything about CAH to someone you might be interested down the line as in marriage but that is my opinion.
Nothing to do with intimacy but when I told about CAH - I compared our endocrine condition to how a car, motorcycle works, or cooking chilli . They seemed to understand that but some don't say nice things but more are fine with it.
But to bring this up at 17? egads!!! not me.
I told this to another kid without CAH sooo I hope it is OK to bring it up with you. Please try to think about where you are going in life like a career ...then all this other stuff will follow.
