Its been a while since I have been on this board but I saw ur msg & wanted to reply...I have a 5 swcah girl...yes she was born as a prader 5 (sever virilization) and she was actually pronounced as a boy at birth...long story short it was a very trying time for us but we have made it thru. we did not even know what cah was until she was born. very scary at first. i am now pregnant with my 2nd child but i have a new husband in which we had him tested (genitically) to see if he is also a carrier. we cant be 100% sure but they think he isnt. i was very reluctant to get pregnant the 2nd time even with my new husband. the only think i can be absolutley positive about is the fact that God got us thru & is still getting us thru everything life has to throw at our little girl...i cant really give u an answer and i dont know if pray but i did & have prayed a lot about our 2nd one and its been amazing the way He has worked in our life. I believe that our angel has cah for a reason and if God decides to give us another child with cah then so be it...if God puts u to it He gets u thru it. I am not on any treatment because of my husband's test results but theres no guarantee's in life! we still dont know the sex of the baby yet (the baby had its legs crossed!) but i am sure we can deal with anything as long as we trust in God.
