Hello, I'm currently being seen by an endocrinologist. I have high 17 hydroxy progesterone. He's suspecting CAH. I need more testing. I'm currently working with an infertility specialist since we've had a tough time getting pregnant. My husband alerted me to this site. Do both parents have to have the gene in order for it to be passed on? I don't have any issues such as hirtuism, altered genitalia, etc. I only have abnorm menses after being on the pill. I'm scared to pass something on to our child when we finally get to do the IVF.
