Hey, I'm 14 now and i had clitoralplasty etc when i was 18 months old, recently(about 3 weeks ago) i had to go under general anasetic so the doctor could have a look and see if it's all alright since the big operation 12- 13 years ago....my clitoris still is on the larger size of the scale but (i live in the uk) my surgeon (Mr williams at cambridge) said recent studies in the uk show women without the condition have been shown to have the same size and larger clitoris' than cah patients and in england at the moment they are discussing weather cah patient need clitoralplasty anymore as it's showing to be less rare than they first thought, also they are starting to believe later life surgery isn't necessary, it just causing alot of pain and worries, all that is necessary in most cases is the use of dialtors. The only thing i believe about doing it so young is it does worry younger children more and can scarr them physically and emotionally so you really have to talk to your daughter about it or you'll leave her worrying, she will grow into it but it still will be enlarged you could do it now and get it out of the way or wait til she is about 11 just before she starts worrying and the age she will start to understand what your on about more :)
