Hi I have non salt wasting which is diagnosed due to early puberty. The problems you mentioned stem from starting pubterty too early. Today monitering is alot better and there are much better drugs to control puberty like Lupron.
Since your son was diagnosed at birth his treatment should be better and puberty can be avoided altough it is known puberty can appen to early in swcah is treatment is wrong. I grew up in the 80's no lupron and crap monitering and we where treated as medical objects for students. Don't worry to much the best I can say is if you spot any penis enlargement, pubic hair or regular erections and teenage moodswings then it would be best to see your endo asap as his treatment will have to change.
It's good you can ask the questions no matter how embarrasing.
