Did it occur to you that while you are criticizing (with that annoying lack of capitalization and punctuation, and excessive, unnecessary abbreviations that mark the internet typing of many teenagers) some people for presuming to speak for others; you are speaking for people that you have no idea whether they will agree with you or not.
Also, many of those you are presuming to speak for are small children, who's parents have the duty to speak for, and would be shirking that duty if they didn't.
Finally, had you actually read the board, rather than making snap judgments, you would have noticed that, yes, the most vocal here against the mischaracterization of CAH people by the media as well as some doctors are people with CAH. Their posts can be found all over this and other boards, were you to take the time to look.
But then that's the crux of the matter isn't it. Just as it's easier for people to assume wild things about people with CAH, than take the time to learn the facts, it's easier for you to pontificate against parents, without ever bothering to take the time to assess enough of the situation to make a truly educated comment.
We want these boards to be a place where everyone can come and feel free to talk, share, ask questions and even chit-chat, without the overly harsh flames that go on on other boards. When you criticize people for speaking out, you stifle that. Next time, stay awhile, read more posts, make sure you know who is a parent, and who actually has CAH, try to understand the motivations behind the individuals, have the courtesy to use the proper capitalization, punctuation you were taught is school, use the spellchecker, and share with us your thoughts.
