re: re: does virilization limit positions?{to cherry} Aug. 9th, 2006 8:16am
Actually when I said I hope a man accepts her for who she is, I was relating to Danny's post to an adult women contiplating surgery. He said for her to not choose surgery based on other's opinions. I have always thought you made the right choice for your grandaughter. i think you said she was prader4 or 5. I thank you for answering many of my posts. The reason I am stil procrastinating on a decision is because my kid is a 3 on the scale if she was a prader2 no question, I'd leave it, a 4, same thing, I'd do the surgery. We actually had decided on surgery and the night before surgery she got sick with fever and diarrhea. So now we have the "luxery" of worrying- should we? My heart and common sense tells me if it's left to her, she will choose reduction as an adult. There is a small chance she would be happy that way, but I think there is a higher chance she won't be happy when her clitoris acts like a penis upon arrousal. Yet I, like you, know the surgery being done today has no large study of adult women to say they are happy. You have to way the pros and cons and that's why I was asking about if her ability to have sex would have its limited choices. I am sick of seeing my own posts and I would like to be beyond this contraversiol stage. If I could go back in time I would have gotten the surgery for her as an infant by an experinced surgeon.
