Cherry Lane: I appreciate your comments. Your experience with life and having already raised kids makes a big difference in knowing what is truly important. The intention of all parents on this site is to do the best we can for our children and as you said we do the best we can......with what we have. I am also a 54 yr old mother; have grown children,12 grandchildren and now have a 4 yr old daughter. (People ask me why we adopted and I tell them it was such a joy raising the first bunch we decided to do it all over again!!!) I sometimes question all the discussion re surgery debate but then I remember how many ????s I had when this beautiful child was placed in my arms. CAH is so rare and has so many unknowns,we learn as we go. I am thankful to all the discussion from this board pro & con as I have learned a lot. Keep up the ME ME ME stuff as I enjoy your wisdom.
