I told Mark about surgery for vaginal stenosis and also what to do with the insurance companies plus I told him about asking the endo, a urologist (the one that did my surgery for vaginal stenosis @ 21 ) and also a good idea to talk with a reproductive endo if hiswife is looking to also have children. I then told him how even with the surgeries that sexual intercourse at first is hard going and at least it was for me and others that I talked with but support of someone you are with does really help with that ....See Danny so much better that the if she isn't into you but has the same meaning. I also told Mark that I had the surgery done with using Blue Cross Blue Shield. Where any of what I wrote isn't helpful in someway. Yes,i also wrote that toys help and have fun - a caring supportive lover can help someone overcome  anything and it takes time - doesn't hurt if the guy is good in bed but then again that comes with time ...nibble the ear - it's a good thing for me  I told the man what gets me going and heck might be something he could try on his wife. Nibble at my ear and I'll forget what planet I'm on. What did you tell him ...naw yo ujust wanted to critisize my post. I'm just one person and come hereto learn and get support myself ...yes I'm real and have this condition and don't sugar coat anything to parents because I respect them as adults and don't think it's right to be all fluffy bunny with them or anyone. This is just my one experince and would really love to here your real feelings too

Did I write about nurses snickering in this thread might of or might of not but yes hon and she didn't mean to snicker but just did and nurse's are human beings - this was her way to deal with a condition that she knew nothing about. They laugh or snicker becasue they don't want to cry or apear like they don't know. Yes, she stood behind the doc and snickered because different emotions do come up- she is only human and also a good nurse overall- she adjusts after she understands to . I've also had a nurse call CAH weird and another say that I was a hermaprodite that was born with a vagina and penis - the last nurse was an older nurse and that was the knowledge back in her day.

I come and share info because I'm looking for support with other people that went through the same things - I went to a therapist and she thought CAH was transexuals.

Not a militant....really a militant? Try just a small person trying to manage 3 chronic conditions besides the CAH  and really think for surgery that some need it soon as possible, some can wait and some will never need it.

i wrote about those exams becasue I don't want any child to feel the way I did or others that i know and I've talked with the ped endo from way back and he is awesome because if people don't talk then they will never know how to make things better in health care for CAH. He is a sweet old man and I want to take him to lunch. He was very interested in the vaginal stenosis that I had also and the negative impact on my healthcare for other things. The surgeon way back also meant well but gezz really could of waited and he was the first one I thought of to get me to someone to help with the cancer know. Imagine that after waht he did but that was the man that I knew would have connections he was also interested in the vaginal stenosis of his handy work. I wrote to Mark because i can realte because I had it done and I tried to give a talk ...although maybe to crass for DANNY AND OTHERS on how to over come the situation and maybe make sex less like an exam and thus not happening ..to being fun and meaningful for husband and wife.

You can get that surgery done but if you aren't into it ...or really scared then it isn't going to happen and it takes a man with Big Shoulders to deal with this and maybe he does ....

I've really taked with these parents over the phone and they are awesome.

I like to know what may or may not happen with any condition and it an insult to my intelligence ....how limited it may be otherwise.

Everyone is different and shares in there own way with own experinces and how they are wired with whatever CAH they have.

I gave local docs info about CAH from the http://www.caresfoundation and yesterday spent time at a university talking about CAH because I knew it would benefit others.

I come for support and people with thyroid conditions, celiac sprue, and cancer really know how to support each other but CAH? shhhh
