I am 26 and I also have CAH. I had my surgery when I was very young. May I ask you a question? Are you able to have an orgasim? Unfortunately I have never been able to have any type of one. My physicians have been unsuccessful in trying to solve this issue. 1/2 of them feel it is due to my medications and the other half feel that nerve damage may have occured. To be honest with you. It does not bother me at all. I am simply curious as to wheather or not other girls with CAH are ablet to achieve any type of stimulation. I have been in the same loving and beautiful relation ship for the past 8 years and have no intentions on changing that.
Just as an aside for anyone else who wants to knowmore about me (mostly for parents out there.)
I have lived a fairly normal life. I graduated from high school with honors distinction, played every sport I could, had a very normal social life and then graduated from university with honors. I always got along equally with girls and boys but I perfered to socialize more with boys as I could keep up with them durring sports and felt that the girls sports were too easy.
I do not see why some of the parents feel inclined to tell everyone about their child's condition. I know that not even my best friends know of my condition other than I have to take medications 3 times daily. Growing up I was responsible for my own meds and i took them when needed nomatter who was around. I can now almost alway tell what time of the day it is by my "medicine headaches" (I feel funny and get headaches if my meds are off timing)
