We have a 3 yr old daughter who was diagnosed with swcah at birth. At 6 months of age she had surgery(she was a 7/8 on the prader scale), and since then we have been very fortunate with her health!! Audrey is a precious, normal 3yr old, that loves to play with her trains, hot wheels& her Dora 4 wheeler:) To any new parent of a CAH child, who doesn't know much about this condition, i would LOVE for them to read this, and know that everything WILL be o.k. The medicine DOES get much easier& routine, along with everything else that comes with having a CAH child.
We were just wondering if anyone in Indiana would be interested in getting together somewhere, meeting and talking to one another. Maybe just for a cup of coffee, or if we had enough people interested, maybe some sort of cah reunion.I think that would be a great thing to start!!!
