i think it is just part of the disorder, My daughter is only 7 and she is already telling me that she feels the same way, i really think it's the hormones. I would just explain to your boyfreind that things are not always what they seem. There are times in everyone's life when there really not sure about who they are or where they want to be. It really sounds like you have found your self be proud of your self you have come a long way, most people could never understand how things are with cah. I he really loves you he'll understand, if not you'll find someone better for you remember the saying thank god for the unanswered prayers
