Hi JM:

My daughter is eight, soon to be nine next week.  We had some surgery last May to correct some of the internal and external problems (fusion of labial folds, etc.)  We chose not to touch the clitoris at this point.  It does stick out, and maybe when she is old enough to really understand, I will let her make that decision and whether or not it bothers her.  I have been told that even with children without cah, there are many different looks to the clitoris.  Time might also change their bodies, I don't know.  It is true, nobody can give you the answers.  As a parent, you will do the right thing for your child.

Hope everything goes well.

CL
