Hi Mindy,

Sorry for the delayed response, I just saw this.  Yes, some of the newer Pills aren't great for the salt-wasters.  Any of the ones that have drsp®, or drospirenone (pronounced dros-peer-eh-known) are "potassium sparing," meaning they have the potential to throw off your already off-kilter sodium/potassium balance.  The warnings for these pills say they aren't for people with adrenal disease.

You might be better off with one of the older pills like Orthotricyclen.  These, as far as I know, are safe for salt-wasters.
