Any steroid can cause weight gain, the key would be to have the right dose. I took Dex for 12 years, I didn't really gain too much weight....and actually I was on 3 times too much. However I take Cortef now, I feel great but I am having trouble with fluid retention.
Anyhow, can I ask how much Dex the doc has your son on? and why the changeover from Cortef to Dex?
