Michelle, I was interested in hearing of your lack of sex drive... I am feeling the same. Interesting since I used to have a very high sex drive....
I got my test results back from NIH and I am very oversuppressed. My testosterone is WAY down. I had been taking .5 mg of Dex elixir for about 3 years (and dex pills for a lifetime before that).. My skin has gotten so dry and itchy - especially my feet. Dr Malek thought that might explain some things...
I am to work my way down to .25 of Dex daily if I can. I am down to 4.5 in three days. I'm a little concerned about going that low - since I had a crisis at that level in 1996. They are hoping to at least get me to .375. Maybe switch every other day wtih .25 and .375. Interesting how my local endo (and he's good, mind you) thought my latest labs (drawn by him) were fantastic (17 OHP was 60 I think - though I've always said that I feel the best around 200 or so.) My weight has been up and my muscle tone is terrible. Thank GOD I went to NIH. They want to see me back in 3 months but I can't really afford the plane trip from Washington State....and they don't have any funding...
