my daughter had the surgery but i have to travel to my doctor and I stayed there a week. i would say at least a week you should take off because she will need extra care. my daughter had her surgery a year and half ago and i beleave we stayed in the hospital for 3 days and i think for two days after she still was not her normal self due to pain. my daughter has swcah and had severe virilization so i think that might play a part in how she does after surgery. but i would say if she is like my baby at least a week. and make sure you do all the post op care after the surgery with the nurse instructing you so you feel very comfortable when you get home.
