re: re: vaginal reconstructive surgery

My daughter and I travled to Riley  in Indy (I am in Missouri) for her surgery. She was very virilized. I got there on a sunday (July1) she was admitted July 4. (july 2 was seen in clinic) Surgery July 5 out by July 8. Back to clinic for a look see July 9. Home by July 10. She is 11 months and is doing really well in the healing department. Really it is amazing. I would sugest if you are traveling for surgery at least 2 weeks. And if you have a great day care for her then maybe one more week. I am luck in that I am a SAHM so there is no day care to deal with. But....... I was told by Dr. Rink that she can't have a lot of preassure there. Meaning no exersaucer, no ohter jumpy seat, and no sitting on my hip. So if you go back to work you must make it clear that she is NOT to be put in any of the mentioned things.

BTW who is doign surgery??? Dr. Rink was really great with us and was /is a GREAT doctor!!!
