I have been married for 15 years and my husband still doesn't know the extent of my illness. He knows I take drugs and that I can be sick very easily but the whole nasty business of having major hormone problems I have never told him. My 2nd corrective surgery was done so well that he doesn't even know I ever had any surgery. It's kind of like my little secret, I have two daughters, one I know is a carrier when she is older I will have to sit down and explain to her that when the time comes to get married, her and the husband should get tested. Especially if he is eastern european or jewish because it tends to run more in those races. Let the people know what you want them to know, its hard enough dealing with this yourself let alone having to deal with ignorant people. I'm 42 so I have been around for awhile and have experienced life.
