My husband and I just took my daughter for her surgery consultation with Dr. Cain at Riley Children's Hospital.  We were scheduled to have this surgery on Feb 21, my daughter will be 11 1/2 months old at that time...

All of the information I hear is that Dr Rink is amazing, but our primary Dr is Dr Cain...I know that Dr Rink will be assisting, but it makes me nervous to know that I haven't hear anything about his "work"...I want to make sure that my daughter is taken care of...

Has anyone had an experience with Dr Cain at Riley?!

Also we have an in home babysitter...it's recommended that she not go to the sitter for at least 1 week after the surgery or longer?! I had planned to be at the hospital, and then home with her a week post-op...should I expect longer?!

Thanks for any help, I am really nervous about the entire thing...my daughter is what the doctor's referred to as the "worst case scenario" in regards to her virilization, the told me to expect 4-4 1/2 hrs for surgery...

Any info would be great!

Heather
