re: re: re: Surgery- The Long Story

Hi aimee,

I disagreed with the quote too.  Did you misunderstood my post?  Was  I not clear?

All of the things that happened to your body also happened to mine.  The disregard for the perfect child body,  the strangers getting a peek,  the residents lined up, the photographers called in,  the pictures in the medical journals.   A regular nightmare sanctioned by "medicine"   which the patient pays for.   Ugh    It is sexual abuse.  To this minute I refuse any student.   They really don't like that.  "We're a teaching hospital"  they say.   Right.   Teaching that abuse is OK.

How did you get to yell at them and get them to talk to you and write you letters?  I have been so silenced by the "well-adjusted" facade.    I would like to hear your story on that part.  Why did they change their minds?  Had they heard of ISNA and the work they have done educating everyone?

I really get the pain you have dealt with.   Your anger is GREAT!

Thanks for writing

BA
