my daughter has congenital adrenal hyperplasia and my son is alergic to peanuts so they both wear medic alert braclets and its very important that people know about thier conditions my daughter was in class and she was unwell but wanted to stay at school to complete her project but her friends knew she was sick and urged her to tell the teacher it took some prompting i am so glad she talks to her friends about her condition its good to have back up amongst friends also my daughter is 12 years old, this also shows how supportive and close girlfriends can be. good luck with you girls.
