I was never told that there was a correlation between CAH and needing corrective surgery. I just thought that I had this adrenal insufficency and the need for corrective surgery was a seperate issue. It was after I was about 30yrs old I asked my gyn why I needed this surgery and she said because of your CAH. Then I started studying and finding out more about CAH that they issues became more clear. Your not alone.
