Im glad you and your mum can still talk maybe she will never be able to talk about it, she may think that its her fault or shes not educated enough about it that tends to stop people talking about things, but as long as you still have a good relationship with her thats great, my mum comes from the dark ages and thinks that my daughters have SWCAH as a result of me being a not so good child we dont speak anymore, you just never know how someone thinks unless you talk, this is your chance to show your mum just how open you can be about this condition and over time she may start to talk about it well i hope so but you seem to have your head screwed on pretty good for your age so keep up with the positives.
