I agree with what Anon2 has to say. I'm very grateful for Truth and Jennifer's comments. It's reassuring to know they don't think we are terrible parents. We chose surgery hoping it was the best to help our kids and it really hurts when we are blamed for choosing that option and accused of being immoral to put our kids through surgery. I would do anything to help my daughter. We never chose surgery to make her life worse but sometimes reading certain comments, we are made to feel terrible parents.
