You can't make someone feel or do anything without their permission.

The endocrine consesus of the early 2000's doesn't recomend surgery for anyone lower on the prader scale.

To call others with CAH "bitter" isn't supportive as you have no idea their whole back ground or complete feelings based on posts.

I could have written your same post but I don't feel that other people are bitter but rather coming from the heart and sharing their experience with having CAH.

Surgery actually wasn't recommended for me right away according to my medical files.

It isn't about how good surgery is and it should be but rather choice over ones own body.

Those of us higher on the prader scale don't have a choice as its done this surgey sooner or later  becuase we have to fit into a gender and the studies have shown that girl chromosomes babies with CAH that are born high on the prader scale of virilization do fit in the female gender. Although lately I've wonder because I seem to float from gender to gender.
