Personally, I wouldn't elect not to have surgery because of CAH. I had a hysterectomy in December and came through it just fine. My endo didn't say anything other than to call in orders to the hospital/anesthesiologist for steroid stress dosing.
Personally, I think your doc is being a little too cautious.
