re: Been there, learnt that lesson... Mar. 20th, 2008 9:41pm
Hi Megan,
When i relized you were 16yrs thats when my whole answer changed, i actually dont drink i grew up watching what it did to my mother & father and i dont want to go there.
I managed to get through my early years without it and when i did try drinking i hated not being in control, but the most important thing i can tell you is look what drinking does to your brain exspecially at your age when brain cells are still forming dont kill them of before they can develope its like ripping yourself off.
I believe drinking & drugs should be done as far away from children as possible so they dont have to deal with what comes of it, i dont want to sound like a prune, but please please please you have only one brain, Many of my friends who drank at that age generally had other issues that the alcohol would drown out, why are you drinking?
I dont drink and I still have a ball when i go out and being the only sobar one there i get to see just why i dont drink try it its very interesting.
